The Morris Youth Foundation began with a simple idea and mission: To create an everlasting bond between our disabled friends and our abled friends. This bond will go beyond the limitations of one’s disability and see them for who they truly are: human beings.
The Morris Youth Foundation was founded in 2015 by William Morris. The foundation’s mission is to redefine the way that services and programs are provided in Arkansas and change the way they are viewed in the state.
As the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of The Morris Youth Foundation, Morris has guided the organization’s growth and development since its establishment in 2015, transforming it into a prominent nonprofit entity based in Little Rock, AR. With over two decades of experience, Morris is widely recognized for his contributions and leadership within his field.
Ms. Israela Islam serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Foundation, holding the distinction of being the longest-serving EVP since the organization’s establishment in 2015. Prior to her current role, she served as the inaugural Vice President for Finance and Administration. She is also recognized as the second woman of color to hold the EVP position. In her capacity as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Islam plays a pivotal role in supporting the President by enhancing the Foundation’s operational performance and advancing its programmatic goals.
